CyclingTips is pleased to offer a live stream of the four-day 2018 Colorado Classic men’s stage race, held August 16-19. This stream will only be available to those watching from the United States.

The men’s field will travel a route that is nearly 400km long (245 miles long) with 4,720 metres (15,486 feet) of climbing. The four-stage women’s race covers roughly 130km (80 miles) and 1,486 metres (4,818 feet) of climbing.

The race begins in Vail on August 16 with identical routes for both the men and women, on circuit through Vail Village and West Vail. Stage 2 marks a return to the Vail Pass time-trial course that climbs from the heart of Vail Village and finishes near the summit at evelevation 3,048m (10,000 feet).

The race then travels to Denver for a two-stage weekend finale, with the start/finish each day at the Velorama Festival. Stage 3 for the men will be a 162km (100-mile) out-and-back going up Lookout Mountain, through Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and back, while the women race will be a timed criterium. Stage 4 will feature men’s and women’s circuit racing through downtown Denver.

Now in its second year, the Colorado Classic men’s race is designated as a UCI 2.HC race — the highest category outside of WorldTour events. Both the men’s and women’s races are part of the USA Cycling Pro Road Tour, which showcases the premier road races in the United States, and are held in conjunction with the Velorama Festival, a three-day celebration of music and cycling in Denver including music from national acts Modest Mouse and Cold War Kids.

Confirmed riders for the men’s race include Latvian Toms Skujins (Trek-Segafredo), Americans TJ Eisenhart (Holowesko-Citadel, Neilson Powless (LottoNL-Jumbo), Keegan Swirbul (Jelly Belly-Maxxis), and Taylor Phinney (EF Education First-Drapac), and Romanian Serghei Tvetcov (UnitedHealthcare), the runner up at last year’s event.

Highlighted riders from the women’s peloton include Mia Manganello (Team Affinity), Kendall Ryan (TIBCO), Abby Mickey (Rally Racing), Jennifer Valente (Twenty20-Sho-Air), Amgen Tour of California winner Katie Hall (UnitedHealthcare), and 2017 Colorado Classic champion Sara Poidevin (Rally Racing).

The live stream will run from 1-3pm MT each day. The event is not producing a live stream of its concurrent women’s race, but will be delivering highlight packages to be featured during the live stream of the men’s race.
